Starting 3/18/11, you will be able to earn points for retweeting a Bamboozle status on Twitter. You will NOT earn points for retweeting prior to this date.

You can also earn points for shouting Bamboozle out with an @-mention on Twitter. Points are limited to 2 posts per day.

*NOTE: At this time, you can not earn points if your Twitter account is private. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Emailing Customer Service

Ok BoozleTwisters.. in an attempt to answer your questions, we’ve created this FAQ blog. Please take a moment to review the following topics and feel free to comment on anything that is still unclear.

We’ll be adding topics frequently so please check back from time to time if you have any further questions. We’re here for you and will do our best to answer everyone’s emails as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience!

Check-In to a Venue

You may have noticed that we added a new activity: “Check-In to a Venue” When Bamboozle related events are promoted via BoozleTwist, you will earn you points for attending and checking-in via Foursquare. Please make sure you sign up for the official BoozleTwist mailing list and follow Bamboozle on FB/Twitter so you know where and when the events are taking place!

Bamboozle Radio

We only award points to ACTIVE Bamboozle radio listeners. In order to prevent gaming, many of the activities and the amount of time in between each are capped to ensure your actions are authentic. Listening to a song or two won’t cut it :)

Viewing Photos

Rewards

If you redeemed your hard-earned points for a reward, congratulations! When you complete the check-out, we automatically receive an email. Sorry if it takes us a couple days to confirm your redemption, but we need to validate your points and make sure you didn’t CHEAT! We WILL respond to EVERY reward redemption email.

More rewards will be announced every couple of weeks.

All rewards are REDEEMED AT THE BAMBOOZLE FESTIVAL. You need a ticket to the festival to gain access to the BoozleTwist Rewards Booth.

Please note that each reward you redeem is only for YOU. If you want to bring a friend to a meet & greet, for example, you will have to up your quantity to 2 when you check out and redeem double the amount of points! You can not transfer your prize or your points to anyone else.

If a rewards category is showing up empty, that means the prizes have been SOLD OUT.

Also, all autographed rewards are pre-signed. You will NOT meet the bands when you pick up your poster, t-shirt, etc.

REWARDS & POINTS ARE NON-TRANSFERRABLE AND CAN NOT BE SOLD TO OTHER CLUB MEMBERS.

Connecting to Facebook

In order to connect BoozleTwist to your Facebook account, go to ‘My Info’ - ‘Social Networking Options’ here: http://boozletwist.crowdtwist.com/my-info/3

Once you are correctly connected, the screen will be updated and say, ‘You’re now connected and earned 500 points.’

NOTE: Sometimes, Facebook connect is DOWN. We can’t do anything about this. If this is the case, come back at a later time and date. You WILL not get any points until you connect.

You’ll also earn points for liking Bamboozle on Facebook. In order to connect your accounts, please go to Twitter and follow The Bamboozle here: www.facebook.com/TheBamboozle

Your points will be credited as “First Month Facebook Friendship.”

If you sign up for BoozleTwist using a shared computer, it may automatically connect you to the Facebook account of the last person who used Facebook. We know this is annoying and we’re looking into updating this process, so for now please make sure you log into Facebook first before connecting BoozleTwist to your account.

Cheating

Progress on BoozleTwist is closely monitored and suspicious activity is easily detected; cheating will not be tolerated. Beating the system by creating a workaround, writing a script or creating multiple BoozleTwist accounts to earn points for friend referrals is not allowed. In order to ensure a fun and fair experience for everyone, any accounts suspected of cheating will lead to forfeiture of acquired points and possible suspension.

Points Issues

Deleting Your Account

We’re sorry you’re considering leaving us, but if you do want to delete your BoozleTwist account for any reason, send an email to customer-support@crowdtwist.com with “Delete My Account” in the subject line.

Provide us with your full name, user name and the email address associated with your account. Please note that you will lose all of your points. If you decide to sign up again, you will not be able to transfer your points from your previous account.

Inviting Friends

Once you’ve signed up for BoozleTwist, you can INVITE your friends to join by going to ‘My Info’ - ‘Add & Invite Friends’ here: http://boozletwist.crowdtwist.com/my-info/3

Please note: You ONLY receive points when the people you invite JOIN BOOZLETWIST!! Unfortunately, we used to reward 1,000 points for each friend you have signed-up, but TOO MANY PEOPLE CHEATED the system – now you only receive 50 points for each friend you sign-up. Cheaters points were removed and if they had redeemed any rewards they were INVALIDATED.

Submitting Bamboozle Tickets

Don’t worry if you purchased tickets to the Bamboozle Festival prior to the launch of BoozleTwist – you can still get points by submitting your ticket purchase confirmation email to us. Simply copy and paste the entire email into our “Submit Your Receipt” tool: http://boozletwist.crowdtwist.com/submit-receipt

Please note that you can only earn 5,000 points per TICKET you purchase, not how many show dates you attend (4 tickets max).

If you tried to submit a receipt for your ticket purchase and have received an error message, please EMAIL customer-support@crowdtwist.com a copy of your receipt, your BoozleTwist account name & email address. We will validate your receipt and award you the points you deserve.

It’s the most direct way to communicate with our fan club members and you even earn points for reading each email we send out!

If you don’t happen to receive your points, please make sure you are downloading the images displayed in the emails, otherwise you will NOT earn points for reading the email. It’s also possible that your email provider may not be compatible with our platform. These instances are far and few between and we do apologize for this inconvenience.
